We got up on our first full day in Honduras and enjoyed a nice breakfast before we headed to Tejeras for Sunday School and feeding of the children. We helped out by taking each child’s bowl and cup and filling them up with a hot meal and a drink. The kids were all very excited to see us and it was nice to see that the new kitchen which was built last year is working out great.
After we finished at Tejeras we toured around Quimistan. Maynor, Itzel and Juan showed us all the sites and we rode by the Agape Promises office.
That evening the kids from Agape Promises came to the villa for dinner. We played soccer, basketball and frisbee with the kids and then helped cook hamburgers for dinner. We did this to show the kids that we appreciate all the hard work they are doing and that we want them to be successful. This was a lot of fun and we even got to work in the kitchen some.
